Sustainable Staffing

Sustainable Staffing, Inc. is a locally owned and operated organization dedicated to fostering community growth through strategic employment solutions. Our physical presence includes offices in McHenry and Harvard Illinois, allowing us to effectively service 15 counties across Northern Illinois and the Wisconsin stateline area. 

The journey of our organization began in 1990 in Wichita, Kansas, where our founder, Mary McBride, started her career recruiting nurses in the healthcare industry while studying business administration at Wichita State University. This foundational experience in human resources was later paired with her husband, Stephen McBride’’s extensive background in the manufacturing sector and Quality Management. Our leadership team further strengthened through a long-standing friendship with our Director of Health and Safety, Wali Waliullah which originated during their university studies where he earned a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. In 2017, we  transitioned into a second-generation led firm, with Auzy Waliullah serving as the Director of Finance.

Our mission remains centered on using our expertise to help others by bringing together businesses and talent.  We ensure that both grow sustainably, fulfilling our commitment to growing people, companies, and communities together.
