Job Position: Brake Press Operator

Location: Waukesha, WI 53189

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Description:

We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced brake partsoperator responsible for forming structural steel and inspection ofcompleted parts. You’ll be working the second shift, Monday through Fridayfrom 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Brake Press Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up forming dies, operate brake press (Cincinnati) and tooling per standards

• Install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades or other fixtures securely in rams or beds of machines

• Produce metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers, calipers, gauges, templates, and rulers

• Complete required paperwork

• Perform all required housekeeping tasks

• Must be available to consistently work his/her shift

Brake Press Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• At least 3-5 years of brake press experience

• Excellent blueprint reading skills

• Ability to choose dies

• Experience with a 175 or 350 brake preferred

• Heavy manufacturing experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
