Location: Capron, IL 61012

Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00/hr BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Description:

Our client in Capron, IL is hiring for a 1st shift Welder to join theirgrowing team. The Welder is responsible for fitting and welding of steel,aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and TIG process. Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

• Weld steel aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of blueprints and/or drawings.

• May operate other machinery used in the production process.

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a welding procedure specification.

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

• Experience with TIG welding.

• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently.

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and gauges.

• Ability to identify and measure material.
