Job Position: Metal Polisher

Location: Capron, IL 61012

Pay Rate: $12.00 – $14.00 BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

MetalPolishers are responsible for grinding, smoothing, and polishing surfacesof items such as equipment components prior to finishing operations.

Metal Polisher Duties and Responsibilities

• Polishes stainless and cold rolled steel parts removing excess material and surface defects

• Bead blast steel parts to a consistent finish

• Load unload tumble deburring machine

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Metal Polisher Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

• High level of grip strength and hand function to grasp parts and polishing tools

• Some experience with wood or metal working that involves sanding or polishing with power tools
