Job Summary:

Our Client in Darien Wisconsin is a Metal Fabricator of fuel tanks, and hydraulic reservoirs. This company employs several hundred people. This client hires entry level employees who speak and understand English and are over the age of 18 for entry welding, machine operation and general labor. MIG Weld training program offered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

PAINT (general labor) Employees will be responsible for reading customer routers and using a number of different hand tools to prepare and assemble tanks before and after tanks are painted (including grinders). Employees will be responsible for packaging tanks on pallets per router instructions. These positions require a high level of attention to detail as this is the last stop before product is shipped to our customers.

KIT (general labor) Employees in this department assemble boxes and package the kits containing nuts, bolts, and other essential parts that are shipped with the finished product to the customer. There is a lot of counting and need for accuracy here and it is somewhat monotonous work in this department.

PRESS (general labor) Employees will be responsible for reading customer routers, counting parts made, and first piece and periodic part inspections. They will be responsible for safely operating large Press machines and following safety protocol in material handling.

WELD TRAINING: We can teach employees who are willing to learn the welding trade. All welding candidates, whether they've had no experience or 10+ years experience as a welder start out in our Weld Training department. They are required to pass a weld test before moving on to different parts of the plant. It is up to the WT Supervisor to determine when candidates are ready to take a weld test. A successful weld test will be graded and employee will move to another part of the plant at that time.

RECTANGULAR / CYLINDRICAL (general labor) Employees will be responsible for reading customer routers, counting parts, and using a number of different hand tools to prepare and assemble tanks. They may learn how to run machines that tack weld (not welding). They may be measuring wood accurately and assembling pallets for shipping. Attention to detail is important in all areas of the plant.

ETCH (general labor) Employees are responsible for reading customer routers with a strong attention to detail. Employees in this department work in a fast paced environment. They will learn several job duties and will rotate these duties as determined by the supervisor
